GERBU’s pNPP 5mg Tablets are pre-weighed for fast and convenient preparation of a pNPP-solution. Each tablet contains min 5mg of pNPP disodium salt.

pNPP 5mg Tablets, disodium (4 nitrophenyl) phosphate

Widely, pNPP (p-Nitrophenyl Phosphate, Disodium Salt) is used as a substrate for detecting alkaline phosphatase in ELISA applications. Used as a Chromogenic substrate for the determination of acid and alkaline phosphatase.

A yellow-colored water-soluble reaction product is produced when alkaline phosphatase and pNPP are reacted. This reaction product can be read spectrophotometrically at 405 nm. The reaction may be stopped with 3 M NaOH and read at 405nm.
