Mouse Specific CD19 Antibody

This mouse specific CD19 antibody is specifically designed to detect CD19 in murine tissues with high sensitivity in FFPE applications.

CD19 – the most widely used biomarker for B-cells in human samples

CD19 is the most widely used biomaker for B-cells in human samples, especially because CD19 is one of the few markers that is already expressed in pro-B cells. Acute myeloid leukemia (AML), which is a very common B-cell leukemia, is often characterized by an aberrant expression of CD19.

Specific for mouse CD19 without cross-reactivity to human and rat CD19

Syngeneic mouse models of ALL recapitulate human ALL and can be differentiated from other murine lymphocytic leukemias by positive CD19 expression. In the era of CD19-therapies targeting cancer or systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), e.g. CD19 CAR-T cell therapy, it is key to understand if CD19 expression on cancer cells or B-cells is maintained after the previous line of therapy. For this approach, mouse lines are also used in research to investigate the effects of different therapies in this system. HistoSure’s polyclonal rabbit purified antibody, specific for mouse CD19 shows no cross-reactivity to human and rat CD19.

Mouse Specific CD19 Antibody

The HistoSure Mouse Specific CD19 antibody was specifically designed to detect CD19 in murine tissues with high sensitivity in FFPE applications and is ideally suited for this task. Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue is a method of preserving biological samples for histological analysis. FFPE tissue can be used for various applications in pharma and drug discovery
