The EchoCLEAN DNA & RNA Clean-Up Kits are designed for a single-step purification and are ready in only 3 minutes.

Based on the principle of reverse purification, EchoCLEAN Clean-Up Kits remove impurities like salt, detergent, proteins and organic solvents through the column material. The purified nucleic acid is collected in the flow-through with only one centrifugation step.

This simple process allows for substantially faster purification of nucleic acid samples than typical bind-wash-elute methods, with far less handling, dramatically lower quantities of plastic disposables, and no use of hazardous chaotropic substances or chemicals.

Clean-Up Kits for Superior Performance in Real-time PCR

Because there is no loss of DNA or RNA related to carrier material binding, nucleic acid recovery is close to 100% when utilising EchoCLEAN kits. Binding to a silica membrane, by contrast, in bind-wash elute methods, results in a loss of up to 30% of the target nucleic acid material.

In addition, traces of chaotropic salt and ethanol are commonly coeluted during these purification processes, often causing real-time PCR studies to be inhibited. Because EchoCLEAN kits are free of chaotropic salts, organic solvents, and EDTA, they perform better in real-time PCR, even with undiluted samples.
