Real-time 5X Multiplex qPCR Master Mix
myPOLS Biotec has developed a real-time 5x Multiplex qPCR Master Mix which is optimised for robust and reproducible PCR performance. Applications are any probe-based and multiplex real-time detections by qPCRs. As a special feature, the mix can also be used for direct qPCRs from crude samples without sample extraction and if required, it can also be lyophilized.
Additionally, the ready-to-use PlexTaq® 5x qPCR Multiplex Master Mix has a hot-start formulation of the included DNA polymerase, which prevents false amplification and provides a fast start function.

The innovative real-time 5x Multiplex qPCR Master Mix includes all components necessary for ultrafast, sensitive and reproducible quantification of DNA and cDNA and the 5x concentration provides more free volume for primers and probes.
PlexTaq® – Multiplexing at its best
An engineered DNA polymerase and an optimized buffer with ultrapure dNTPs, ensure that this mix is at its best performing when high multiplexing and uniform results are required, thus making it the ideal product for e.g applications such as molecular species identification by DNA barcoding, multiplexed amplifications for NGS-based barcoding, etc.
Optimal for multiplexed amplification NGS applications
The PlexTaq® formulation also allows direct PCRs from crude samples which can save a significant amount of time whilst facilitating accurate and sensitive results.

The PlexTaq® 5x qPCR Multiplex Master Mix ensures reproducible results, significantly reduces set-up times and minimises the risk of pipetting mistakes. The Multiplex Mix contains all components necessary for a successful and reliable probe-based qPCR in all standard real-time PCR cyclers. Only the primers, template and a fluorescence-based hydrolysis probe need to be added.
