MIRAI Cold 22 represents a new generation of sustainable Ultra-low Temperature (ULT) refrigeration systems using the air cycle technology (reversed Brayton Cycle) which drastically cuts energy consumption and operational costs and ensures reliability, safety and compliance with environmental legislation.
The Air Cycle Technology is underpinned by the heating capability of air during compression and cooling down during the expansion process. The repeated compression and expansion cycles facilitate achieving and maintaining ultra-low temperatures ranging from -40°C down to -110°C in cold chambers. Unique humidity extraction for effective long-term ULT storage
The MIRAI Cold 22 refrigeration system employs an open cycle to deliver ultra-cold airflow straight to the chamber eliminating the need for an evaporator and auxiliary fans. The open cycle ULT refrigeration units manufactured by MIRAI, are equipped with a unique Humidity Extraction Device (Snow catcher) that mechanically captures and eliminates the air humidity from the chamber.
