The assay is based on the principle of capturing human TGF-beta3 using specific antibodies coated on the microplate wells and detecting it with biotinylated antibodies and streptavidin-horseradish peroxidase (SA-HRP) conjugate. The resulting colorimetric signal is proportional to the amount of human TGF-beta3 present in the sample and can be measured at 450 nm using a spectrophotometer.

Human TGF-beta3 recombinant protein was spiked into various biological samples and serial diluted with Assay Diluent 10WR for serum and/or plasma samples and Assay Diluent 1TD for RPMI 10% FBS.

The data and subsequent graph were obtained after performing a cytokine ELISA for TGF-beta3. Each known sample concentration was assayed in triplicate.
