L.B. Bohle’s New Machine Generation Sweeps German Design Awards
L.B. Bohle is celebrating a hat-trick of German Design Awards for its new machine generation. The leading pharmaceutical manufacturing technology company from Ennigerloh has won the German Design Award three times.
Managing Director Thorsten Wesselmann stated:
“At the Interpack in May of this year, we launched our new machine generation with the presentation of three new systems. Our machines have not only been technically optimized, but they have also been redesigned in a groundbreaking industrial design.”
Following discussions with the industrial designers involved in the creation of the machines, the management of L.B. Bohle opted to enter the BFC tablet coater, the BRC dry granulator and the QbCon 1, a continuous granulator and dryer for research and development, for the Design Award.
The German Design Award welcomes entries from companies, agencies, service providers and marketing experts as well as non-profit and governmental organizations across all industries worldwide. The independent jury of the German Design Council is responsible for evaluating entries and determining both the admission to the competition and the eventual winners.
L.B. Bohle Receives Three Awards in One Day
L.B. Bohle was named the winner for the BRC and QbCon, while the BFC tablet coater received a special award. Officials at L.B. Bohle view this astonishing achievement as validation of their decision to adopt the innovative new design. Wesselmann commented:
“After the consistently positive reactions to our new machines, we were secretly hoping for an award. We were surprised to receive three awards at once. ”
Managing Director Tim Remmert, who sees further positive effects from the award highlighted:
“Thanks to an outstanding team effort within the company, together with external designers, we have succeeded in developing a completely new design line for our systems that ensures identification with the L.B. Bohle company. Winning the German Design Award will also help us attract even more attention and visibility in the market.”
