Digitalising measurement values from all analogue devices
Since adding the new intelligent input voltage and current modules to its data logger line, SenseAnywhere has opened up new horizons, enabling a wide variety of measurement values from analogue devices to be digitised and transmitted to the reliable and secure cloud portal SAClient so they can be accessed 24/7 from a single system.
The most common analogue measured value transmission signals in industrial automation technology and pressure sensors are the 4-20 mA current signal and the 0-10 V voltage signal. Therefore, infinite new applications are made possible by the smart SenseAnywhere input modules 4-20mA and 0-10V, which enable digital measurements for any analogue equipment.
Whenever the corresponding input module is connected to a third-party sensor, any monitored analogue data is digitised by the electronics built into the connector and transmitted to an AiroSensor 20-20-43 through the SenseAnywhere Bus (SAB) interface. This transfers all measurements to the reliable and secure cloud portal SAClient.
Numerous measurements in a single system
With the novel smart input modules, it is feasible to monitor a wide range of data values, including CO2, pressure, the quantity of dust in cleanrooms, and many more. The key advantage is that all measured values can be accessed in a single system, including alarms and notifications. Alarm settings can be set in the SAClient cloud portal, and whenever these are exceeded or fallen short of, notifications are sent to ensure the safety and quality of products and processes. All of the monitored data can be accessed and viewed 24/7 in real-time, from any location, with the complete audit trails available for download. Moreover, no software needs to be installed and the data is accessible via PC, Mac, tablet or smartphone.
