L.B. Bohle to Unveil Groundbreaking Innovations at Interpack

The premier trade fair for the packaging and pharmaceutical industry, Interpack, will open its doors in Düsseldorf from the 4th of May to the 10th of May 2023.

Germany’s L.B. Bohle Maschinen und Verfahren GmbH is thrilled to participate and to welcome customers and interested parties in Hall 16, Stand A72 / B71.

As a global leader in machines and processes for producing pharmaceutical tablets, L.B. Bohle has exciting plans for the upcoming trade fair. Through direct customer feedback and in-depth analysis, L.B. Bohle has ascertained particular areas for optimisation in their already technologically advanced machines. In addition to enhancing the process, operation, and machine equipment, L.B. Bohle is also pioneering new territory and introducing a groundbreaking design that aims to inspire trade show visitors.

L.B. Bohle unveils four world premieres to the trade public at Interpack 2023

For over 10 years, L.B. Bohle’s BFC tablet coater has been at the leading edge of pharmaceutical coating technology. Now, Bohle unveils a superior version of the BFC coater that has undergone optimisation for enhanced hygienic design, ergonomic features, operator safety and usability, as well as technical configuration. To meet modern sustainability requirements and exceed resource-saving production standards, the BFC tablet coater is also fitted with an energy monitoring system.

With the QbCon® 1, L.B. Bohle provides the ideal entry-level system for continuous production. The truly continuous wet granulator and dryer for R&D guarantees enhanced product quality while at the same time increasing flexibility and operator safety. Additionally, the system minimises costs through the reduced use of resources, and development cycles are shortened through the use of process analysis.

In contrast to rival systems, the QbCon® 1 allows for a constant and truly continuous process, free from the formation of sub-batches and filter blockages.

The L.B Bohle BRC dry granulator has been electromechanically driven since its launch in 2012. Other competing systems rely solely on hydraulic systems that consume a significant amount of resources and also negatively affect compressibility.

By utilising a standard Washing in Place (WIP) system, cleaning can be accomplished thoroughly and effectively. The BRC can be quickly assembled and disassembled in under 10 minutes without the need for any tools. Furthermore, a versatile screen system permits the usage of either a conical or oscillating screen.

L.B. Bohle’s vast array of products also facilitates the effortless integration of the BRC into interconnected plants or continuous production systems.
